‘Resololution’ is a straight up rock album, one of the very best of the year, because Shamir is one of the most challenging and experimental musical artists working tody and saw no reason why a gay black man couldn’t rock as hard as anyone else, then spends thirty three minutes rocking harder. This is what we should all be supporting! If you haven’t bought this album, you should be ashamed of yourself for not getting behind real and properly exploratory art. You should buy two copies of every one of Shamir’s markedly different albums just to apologise. Then buy another one for your Mum for Christmas. Then buy another one in case you lose the other three
