Before I reveal the scientifically and mathematically proven best album of 2016 that you’ve already worked out let’s chuck some random stats at you
Countries of Origin
Comprehensive proof that the USA makes the best music.
If there are any smart arses out there who have noticed that the numbers add up to more than 117, that’s because the following artists were adjudged by a panel of experts/Wikipedia to be dual national; Kaytranada (US/Haiti); Garbage (USA/UK); Zeal & Ardor (USA/Switzerland); Regina Spektor (USA/Russia); Mitski (USA/Japan); Swet Shop Boys (USA/UK/India/Pakistan)
Jesus, it really is a lame duck, isn’t it? membership hardly seems worth it. Sweden’s pop mastery is really only just keeping the EU afloat
Wow, that’s… That’s shockingly poor. Have I missed someone out?? Surely 2016 can’t have been that poor for MCR!?

God, that was such a brilliant idea for an award, but I just forgot about it…
I was watching a YouTube video about wrestlers’ favourite music because… because… because fuck you! I do whatta wan’!! On it Dean Ambrose- a wrestler I have long considered the weakest and least interesting ex-Shield member said that he liked “Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Deftones, Pearl Jam… All kinds of stuff!”. I was amazed that in some circles affection for those four near indentical 90s rock bands could be considered in some way a varied taste in music, and wrote it down so I wouldn’t forget it and could use it in a review at some opportunity.
That opportunity never came, and the quote as stared down at me for the last few weeks/months/years
You weren’t spoiled for pictures though, we’yer?? I might reveal No.1 tomorrow, but the review will only be released when I feel the record has been afforded the respectful write-up it deserves
