Most Viewed Necessary Evil Posts of 2021

Yeah, for the third year running, because I’m a bit of a stats nerd and this post takes about four minutes to write. The 2021 Legit Bosses should be finished before the end of January, and the 2021 stats will be finished in… fuck knows, that’s honestly taken to the end of the next year in the past – don’t try and stifle my art by placing time limitations on it!!!

Anyway, here are the most viewed posts on The Internet’s Most Trusted Voice over the last twelve months, along with how it compares with last year’s list. And – yeah, guess what?- it’s all fucking Manics again.

10 Necessary Evil 2020 pt.14 (10-8) (NEW)

9 Prince: Dirty Mind (NEW)

8 Lil Peep: Come Over When You’re Sober Pt.1 (NEW)

7 2020’s Best Computer Game: The Last of Us pt 2 (NEW)

6 Entry #2 Manic Street Preachers: Roses in the Hospital (+1)

5 (Stats, Not War) Just the End of the List (NEW)

4 The Magnetic Fields: 50 Song Memoir (-1)

3 From ‘From Her to Eternity’ to…?Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds’ Albums Officially Ranked (-1)

2 Love Their Mess and Adore Their Failures: Manic Street Preachers’ 100 Greatest Songs (NEW)

1 Manic Street Preachers: Resistance is Futile (and the Manics albums ranked) (-)

Christ, the amount of work, and the amount of advertising work I did for that 100 greatest songs list, and still that album ranking I dossed off because the latest album really wasn’t interesting enough to talk about continues its tight grp on the number one spot. By the way, the most popular post from the recently finished Necessary Evil 2021 was, erm, 81-71, the very first post. People were obviously turned off after that.

Remember, you are safe, you are loved, and you will have a happy 2022.

Kisses
